The handheld temperature and id card scanner is used to scan body temperature and register with some form of identification. All data is sent to a cloud based reporting system (VARM Sentinel).
The handheld device supports identification cards, which can be combined with the temperature testing. Cards can have a barcode or a QR code, e.g. a drivers license or a passport, or smart (RFID) tags, which is common in office pass cards.
To scan a temperature the user aims the top of the device on a person’s forehead or wrist and press the scan temperature button. High temperatures are emphasized with a red screen background and a warning signal.
The data is sent via Wi-Fi to the cloud reporting system. The customer’s central staff can follow the test work in real time.
The test data can also be exported to analytics software for further analysis and planning.
